DESCRIPTION
COADŽ Zinc Stearate HA was developed especially for the coatings industry with a high ash content and low impurities. The fine particle size and low bulk density enhances dispersing characteristics.

APPLICATIONS
  • Coating formulations: COADŽ Zinc Stearate HA is an excellent flatting agent and sanding aid for lacquers and lacquer sanding sealers, easily dispersed by stirring. When used as a flatting agent in paint, it also aids in pigment dispersions.
  • Lacquer Sanding Sealers: COADŽ Zinc Stearate HA offers a high ash content to resist blooming in reactions with acidic catalysts or substrates.
STORAGE AND HANDLING RECOMMENDATIONS
Storage - Store at ambient temperatures away from sources of heat or from places of extreme moisture.
Fire - Use water from a safe distance, preferably with a fog nozzle.
Handling - Avoid contact with skin or eyes. Safety goggles are recommended.
Spills - Clean up immediately. Sweep up and discard in a closed container.
Disposal - Consult Federal, State, and Local regulations. Consult the telephone book or EPA for list of approved disposal companies.

PACKAGING
COADŽ Zinc Stearate HA is packaged in 25 lb. multiwall bags, unitized on non-returnable wooden pallets. Please contact your Norac sales representative to discuss your special packaging requirements.
